Walking with History Guided Walk
Sun 7 May 2017, 13:00 – 16:00 BST
Part of the North York Moors National Park’s Guided Walks Programme. This 5-mile walk starts with a 15-minute talk about the villages of Appleton le Moors and Spaunton.
Then, in the company of Jim Hall, you’ll follow ancient tracks and country lanes to explore some Romano-British and early medieval sites. Enjoy a warm drink afterwards while viewing the History Group Archive.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead.
Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Our guided walks are free, although a suggested donation of £2 is welcome, helping us to care for the National Park.
Booking essential. For more information call 01439 772738.
