Event description

Description

This workshop will include a guided walk in the Weleda gardens to meet and learn from some of the native trees. We will deepen our understanding of their core signature qualities; explore some of their folklore, myths, and legends and look at how these rich inter-weavings become part of the herbal and metaphysical healing qualities of each of the trees.

We will explore a more interactive relationship with some of these trees and experience the subtle shifts when we open our hearts to them. This helps us to move forward into a more interconnected and inclusive relationship with the natural world around us. We will then create a talisman or touchwood, to anchor the understanding we have received during our time with the trees.

We will end on a ceremony to give thanks for the trees we have met and for all the trees of the Earth, and to celebrate our new ways forwards.

A fold-up chair, mat or blanket to sit on might be beneficial. Please bring your own penknife if you have one.

Glennie Kindred is the author of eleven books on Earth wisdom, native plants and trees and celebrating the Earth's cycles. She is a highly respected teacher and much-loved expert on natural lore and Earth traditions.

Cost: £50 including a delicious 2-course vegetarian lunch.
