Walking/Writing the Coast
Walk from The Dell Café at Puckpool to Department in Ryde in company with voices from the past. If you feel inspired, you will then be able to take part in a writing workshop run by local writer and Open University academic Emily Bullock.
Length of walk: 1.5 miles (approx 2 hours)

Start Location: The Dell Café, Puckpool Hill, Seaview, PO34 5AR.
End Location: Department, 29-30 Cross St, Ryde PO33 2AA.
Pace of Walk: Gentle - This walk will follow a gentle pace.
Walk grade: Easy - Mainly flat walking, on paths with good surfaces. No stiles, none or few steps.
Suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance.
Facilities:
- Toilets available en route
- Takes in coastal scenery
- Dogs on short leads are welcome on the walk itself, but unless they are assistance dogs, not at the writing workshop.
