This event will be run as an online People's Assembly. This is a well-established method of ensuring an inclusive and respectful process for debate and discussion. It will be facilitated by members of Waltham Forest People's Assembly and is run in partnership with Extinction Rebellion Waltham Forest.

How might we spread awareness and gain support for the CEE Bill from our elected representatives?
Background: The CEE (Climate and Ecological Emergency) Bill has already been tabled in parliament and now needs the support from elected officials, community groups and individuals to succeed. Don’t worry if you haven’t heard about this bill before - we will invite speakers from the campaign to explain it at the people's assembly. We’ve also invited some local community group leaders to talk about how the CEE Bill could benefit Waltham Forest, should it be passed into law.
