Talk by Peter Lawrence on the original hilltop village that has survived the ravages of 19th & 20th century suburban development.

About this Event

The talk includes several of the gentlemen’s country houses that supported the community and remain to remind us of a grander past.

Chingford Historical Society is a registered charity (Charity number: 281623) and all proceeds from the sale of tickets minus Eventbrite fees will go direct to the charity.

Some but not all of our 2021 talks will be recorded but there will be a delay before they appear online.
