Description

London Wildlife Trust is the habitat and wildlife delivery partner at Walthamstow Wetlands, responsible for working with volunteers to conserve and enhance the site's habitats for wildlife through practical conservation, surveying, education and community engagement.

As there is a tour included in the day, attendees are advised to wear clothing suitable for the weather. Bring a packed lunch and water, tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided by us. If you are traveling by bicycle there is a bike rack next to the Engine House. If you are travelling by car we cannot guarantee a parking place however the parking will be free for attendees on the day.

Time: 10.30 - 14.30

Meeting point: Meet at the Angling Academy which is the single storey building next to the Wetlands car park on Forest Road.

Agenda: The induction will include an introduction to London Wildlife Trust and Walthamstow Wetlands and a 60 minute tour of the reserve.
