Event description

Description

We would like to invite you to take part in a free Arts project taking place in our Wilton village during November called “Walton’s Window Walk”.

We have been awarded funding from the William Milburn Trust to help us run this project with a view to help develop a greater sense of community in our area so we hope you will take part.

We would like each household to display a decorated front window for people to enjoy as they walk around the village during the week starting Saturday 9 November to Saturday 16 November 2020.
This is a similar idea to the Scarecrow Trails around Hayton & Dalston.

To help you prepare your window we are holding free, artist-led workshops in the Village Hall on Saturday 2nd November. You don’t need any great atistic skills as we will be working with Kat from Myriad Studios in Carlisle who will provide advice, inspiration and guidance as well as all the materials we need to create some amazing displays!

All you need to bring with you is the approximate size of your window.

In order to make this project a success we need as many households as possible in the village to take part, so we hope you will join in!

Three workshops will take place on Saturday November:
10 – 11.30am
12.30 – 2 pm
2.30 – 4pm

Please book which workshop you would like to attend so that we know how many people we have for each!

We hope to see you there and are looking forward to our Window Walk!
