Wandsworth Climate Conversations - Energy
Event Information
About this Event
About the Climate Conversations series
Building on the momentum generated by the Wandsworth Climate Summit of November 2020, we are creating a new series of events called the Climate Conversations. This series will bring together residents and anyone from across the borough who is interested in learning more about the important topics and help us to reduce the borough’s emissions.
The Climate Conversations will be a place for discussion, collaboration and advice sharing.
About this event: Energy
At this event, we invite participants to come and discuss the topic of Energy.
Come along to have your questions answered on how to reduce your energy usage and reduce your emissions. There will be the chance to discuss with others and hear from those who have reduced their own usage. You will receive handy tips on how you can make changes, and also hear about what grants are available to support you to do this.
Suggested themes to cover:
• Why is this important?
• How to save your energy
• Tips for reducing energy consumption at home and the path to decarbonisation
• Renewable energy and the role of solar power
We will also be joined by local experts on the topic, as well as others:
• CREW Energy. Delivering low-carbon solutions, energy advice and community outreach to south-west London
Registering for the event
This is an online event using Microsoft Teams.
