Proudly Presents

“Wandsworth Foodies Festive Cheer"

Wednesday December 7th  2016 at 18.00 – 20.00
Venue: Metro Bank, Clapham Junction, 4-8 St John’s Road, Battersea, SW11 1PN

It's time to kick back, relax and join us for a glass of wine or two and nibbles and get to meet your fellow entrepreneurs in the borough.

We are delighted to partner with Metro Bank, who have recently opened a new branch in Clapham Junction. It's fantastic to have Metro Bank in the borough; they are avid supporters of small business.

Wandsworth Foodies business support campaign is now half way through it's first year. The borough is thriving with Food Start Ups and Small & Medium sized enterprises. We've engaged 100's of businesses to date and it's brilliant to be able to play a part in accelerating business growth.

This event, is an opportunity to get many of our Wandsworth Foodies & CPG clients and partners together to celebrate business success.

It's a time to hear from, some of the people behind that success; entrepreneurs from the borough will share their story and pass on some food for thought for you to accelerate the growth of your business.

Jayke Mangion - Co-Founder - Brickwood Cafe's

Jayke is a Co-Founder & Director of 6 multi award winning businesses which operate in South West London; Brickwood Coffee & Bread, WC Wine & Charcuterie, Powder Keg Restaurant & Cocktail bar and more to follow in 2016 & 2017.

Jayke came to London 12 years ago from Australia and realised quickly the opportunities available. Hear Jayke's story on how he did it and what he's learned along the way.

Diana Horsford: Owner and Head Chef - The Avenue Cooking School

Diana is a dynamic and innovative teacher who brings an imaginative spark to the art of cookery. Starting off as a chalet chef, Diana climbed the rungs to founding her own specialist food ventures – including a catering company and a refined delicatessen in Chelsea. She infamously taught at The Grange Cookery School in Somerset for seven years and has been with The Avenue for over ten years. As the absolute driving force of the kitchen, this Mother Duck engages and educates her students with undying character and warmth.

Come along and meet your peers, other entrepreneurs in the borough. We wholeheartedly encourage you to get to know each other, explore the potential to work together and foster a community of support.

Team work, makes the dream work, after all.

We would like to thank Metro bank for their support & Wandsworth Council for supporting the Wandsworth Foodies programme of business support.

We look forward to seeing you all there.
