WAP Workout with Ned Bennett - 5 week course
Thu, 2 Mar 2017, 18:45 – Thu, 30 Mar 2017, 21:45 GMT
After the first three courses sold out super quickly Ned is back with his brilliant five week course. These five weekly sessions will look at Ned’s rehearsal process which aims to empower the actor to create a nuanced and visceral performance - one that remains free throughout the run of the play.
Over five consecutive Thursday evenings the workshops will provide actors with:
Skills to develop a framework for performance in which spontaneity can be nurtured.
Tools to create a rich and ever-evolving inner life for the character through a rigorous process of feeding in the given and imagined circumstances discovered early in rehearsal.
Exercises designed to uncover a three-dimensional approach to relationships - through text analysis and non-verbal improvisations.
Weekly Thursday evening sessions 2nd March - 30th March 6.45pm - 9.45pm
NB: If you have taken a four or five week WAP Workout led by Ned before then this course isn't the right course for you - but watch your inbox for more details of further courses run by Ned.
The course takes place at Church on The Corner, five minutes' walk from Angel tube. This event is for professional actors. As always WAP groups are small so book early to avoid missing out!
