Course Description. This is a two day workshop for students who have or are thinking of getting a wind down tapestry loom. Through demonstration students will learn how to warp up. The first demonstration will show how to make a warp on a warping mill, students will have the opportunity to try out parts of the process and watch other aspects so please bring a note book and a camera. The warp will then be placed in a raddle, attached to the loom, wound on, threaded through the reed and tied on. We will be using a high warp Leclerc tapestry loom, without peddles. If time allows a leash bar will be investigated.
