View of the Hall

Warton Hall is a Georgian Manor House set in 4 acres of garden with a beautiful bluebell woodland walk. Once owned by Augustus Wyckham Clifton of the Clifton family of Lytham, Lancashire.
The gardens were opened previously by my husband David and I with the support of family and friends in 2015 with the National Garden Scheme an amazing turn out of more than 1700 visitors over nine consecutive days.
There are many new additions in 2017 to the gardens, which include the Japanese Water Garden and Japanese Dry Garden designed by renowned Garden Designer Robert Ketchell the Chairman of the Japanese Garden Society. Robert will be giving a talk during the event on Japanese Garden Design.
Weeping Hornbeam 400 years old
There is a newly refurbished Art and Craft Studio, where a variety of workshops and classes by talented artist/teachers will take place throughout the event. Yoga classes will be celebrated under the 400 year old Weeping Hornbeam tree. The opening of the gardens of Warton Hall should coincide with the flowering of the bluebells.
A new 2017 Sculpture Trail will interest gardeners and art lovers alike and the Gallery Shop selling Art and Sculpture will give everyone the opportunity to take home a piece of their favourite work. This year there will be plants and garden memorabilia and garden gifts for sale too.
The Tearoom will open with our volunteers serving light refreshment, including homemade cakes and drinks.
We now have a new outdoor toilet facility in the Courtyard.
Access to most of the garden is possible for wheelchair users.

It is most exciting to open the gates once again and share our passion for the outdoor life and the beautiful. You will be able to see all the hard work that has taken place over the last year, sample the delicious cakes, learn something new in the creative spaces around the venue and wander in the tranquility of a truly inspiring place.

At present I am compiling the programme for the classes which can be booked directly through myself at Warton Hall: Email: nicci_thompson@hotmail.co.uk and payments may also be paid with Paypal or directly at Warton Hall.
If classes are booked and paid for in advance, the entrance fee into the Gardens is included. However Classes may be booked on the day subject to availability. So book early to secure a place as classes are for 4-8 people.
