Join us as we ask and discuss three questions about the PREVENT counter-terrorism duty for Higher Educations.
WHAT DO WE KNOW? What is the Prevent Duty? How has it affected individuals within our community? How have institutions responded?
WHAT DO WE THINK? How compatible is PREVENT with our values as communities and institutions? How does PREVENT change how we relate to each other? What does PREVENT signal for the future of higher education?
WHAT CAN WE DO? How can we come together and enact change that tackles PREVENT in a way that reaffirms the values we hold as a community and as an institution?
This event is being organized by Hannah Jones, Leon Sealey-Huggins, Kathryn Medien, Ajay Chandra along with the Warwick Student Union, and the Warwick Anti-Racism Society.
