Washington live returns for its Third year bringing some of the biggest names in Music to Washington performed by the best tributes in the country. This years event promises to be even better than last years. We are confident we will have another year of no restrictions and we want this year to be the best yet

Washington Live is hosted by a fantastic local band the Scandals and Washington AFC who together bring a feel good family festival day out with children's rides, stalls, food vendors and most importantly excellent Music to entertain all and here is what we have in store this year.

The Scandals - After their blistering set last year finishing off an amazing night the scandals return to headline their second year. This is by far the best way to finish an all day party bringing you classics from the killers, the Jam,the kinks, arctic monkeys, madness and much much more these boys are guaranteed to bring the house down and have everyone singing and dancing to their floor filling sounds.

Oasis - Back by popular demand after an amazing performance last year we see the lads return for another year. These boys are with out doubt the best around with the most authentic sound using the exact same equipment as Oasis and perfectly accurate voices from both brothers. Testimony to this came in 2010 when the band were approached and signed to a record label, becoming the first Oasis tribute in the world to record a full 20 track oasis tribute album for download worldwide. The album was sanctioned by both Noel and Liam Gallagher. In the first year of the albums release the album had in excess of over 500,000 downloads and rave reviews no other Oasis tribute can boast that! As its very unlikely that you will here the real thing again we are privileged to have the next best thing.

Queen - Publicly endorsed by Brian May guitars, we are champion play the music of one of the UK's greatest rock bands completeley live with no backing tracks .....just the sound, energy and spectacle of Queen in their prime played with passion and accuracy. Expect show covering all the hits plus a few more lesser known numers for the die hard fans.

Beyond Madness - The North East's Best tribute to Madness. Bring your fez hat and get ready to stomp your feet to the rockinest, rock steady beat of Madness, the nuttiest sound around. These boys promise to dleiver a great set of all the madness classics. "lets see ya best madness dance"

Panic Report - Brinking a litlle bit of Punk and a whole load of attitude to the festival. The Panic report have built up a cult follwoing on the north East circuit. They not only do covers from the likes of ther clash, pistols , specials and the Jam they have some excellent orognal material that seamlessley works it;s way into the set. "Get ya boots on skin head"

Breakfast Club - Bringing Authentic Electronic sound of the 80's. The breakfast club are another fantastic local band that have been around the north east circuit for sometime and have a greatreputation as a brillaint 80's band and and set to match. Expect Duran Duran, A-ha, Frankie goes to hollywood, Depeche Mode, Sapndau Ballet , ultravox and simple minds plus many more.
