Knowledge transfer seminar: Waste heat recovery

This seminar will give glass manufacturers the opportunity to explore the potential benefits, and practical considerations of using waste heat recovery in their operations through presentations, Q&As and networking with experts in the field.
Waste heat recovery (WHR) technologies have huge potential to help glass manufacturers mitigate against fluctuating energy costs, comply with legislation and improve overall environmental performance. The seminar’s expert contributors include equipment suppliers, funding specialists and givernment policy leads.
The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining - IOM3 - has approved this seminar for professional development – so you can receive a certificate to count attendance towards your CPD log.
What’s the programme?
The event will combine short presentations, case studies, discussions and opportunities for one-to-one conversations addressing the:
- legislative landscape
- funding and financing opportunities
- uses of waste heat technological options - including organic Rankine cycle, heat oxy-combustion, steam turbines, batch/cullet pre-heaters and district heating.

British Glass members – FREE.
Non-members – £110 + VAT per person (discounts available for multiple bookings).

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
If you need to send a colleague in your place that's fine. Just write to email@example.com with their name, email address and any dietary or access requirements so we can update the booking.
Can I get a refund if I need to cancel my place?
Up to two weeks before the event you can cancel your place and receive a full refund. From two weeks to one week before the event we can only issue a 50% refund. If you cancel your place one week before the event or less you will be entitled to a 25% refund.
Do I need to bring my ticket?
You don't have to bring your e-ticket but it's great help if you do.
Do I need to bring my own lunch?
No, lunch will be provided.
