Venture Cinema and the Museum of the Order of St John are proud to bring you an evening of not-so-heroic knights, very silly quests, killer rabbits and endlessly quotable insults.
The Museum tells the story of the Order of Saint John, from its origins caring for sick pilgrims in eleventh century Jerusalem, defending Crusader castles, through to its modern-day incarnation as St John Ambulance! This fascinating collection is housed in a beautiful 16th century gatehouse at the original 11th century headquarters of the Knights Hospitaller.
Enjoy a few drinks in the galleries with The Jerusalem Tavern, follow the Holy Grail Trail, or take a tour of the Norman Crypt before settling down to watch the much loved 1975 British comedy Monty Python and The Holy Grail on the big screen. Considered one of the greatest comedy films of all time, this is a fantastic opportunity to watch this British classic in a glorious, historical setting.
Doors open at 6.00, the screening starts at 7.30 in the spectacular panelled Chapter Hall. Spaces are limited so be sure to register your interest for tickets to avoid disappointment. Visit www.venturecinema.co.uk to get your tickets now.
