Are materials supplied? What should I bring?

Materials are not supplied, you will need to bring watercolour paint, brushes (usually just a medium to large round brush that has a good point is enough) watercolour paper, masking tape, and paper towels. Some techniques do require certain equipment eg wax which will be provided.

Is this class suitable for children?

The class is aimed at adults. Older children are welcome if accompanied by a paying adult.

Is the studio accessible?

Yes, we are on the ground floor and there is a fully accessible bathroom.

Is there parking available?

There is lots of on street parking close by. The small car park at John Archer Hall is used by the other businesses in the building and those who may have mobility issues so we encourage our artists to park on the road if they can.

This weekly class covers all things watercolour! If you have ever wanted to try this wonderful medium or want to improve your skills, please join us each Tuesday morning at 10:30 to 12:30 at our friendly studio in John Archer Hall L8 1YR.

Over the weeks we will experiment, try step by step techniques, learn new tips, understand the materials, colour theory, composition - and learn a few short cuts to make life easier!
