Watercolour Workshop | Pumpkin Studies: Seasonal Still Life
Celebrate the cosy richness of autumn with this seasonal still life workshop, where we’ll be painting a beautiful harvest-themed composition featuring pumpkins, gourds, and textured autumnal objects.
Inspired by the dramatic light and deep tones of Dutch Baroque still lifes, as well as modern interpretations of seasonal subjects, you’ll learn how to build depth and warmth in your watercolour painting—capturing the form, glow, and texture of these iconic autumnal objects.
We’ll explore how to create controlled shading for rounded forms, how to play with warm colour temperatures, and how to add optional details in gold or ink to enhance your piece.
Eva will guide you step-by-step, offering tips on watercolour layering, contrast, and building a strong still life composition.
All materials are provided, including the gold leaf; just bring your beautiful self!

This workshop is perfect for beginners. Eva will walk you through each step, helping you feel confident and creative. By the end, you’ll have a vibrant, gilded artwork that’s totally frame-worthy.
