Watercolour Worskhop in Leighton House gardens

Artist Ann Witheridge, founder of London Fine Art Studios, returns to Leighton House to lead a new series of her popular art workshops in Leighton’s private palace of art.
With reference to the works in the show 'Pre-Raphaelites on Paper. Victorian Drawings from the Lanigan Collection' (12 February - 29 May), the workshop will discuss colour harmony and simplification as applied to the landscape. Participants will need to bring their own painting materials:
Watercolour Course. Basic set
Set of watercolour paints. Can be very basic
Paper ether in a pad or stretched into board. At least 4 sheets. 1 cheap sheet for testing
Brushes. Both small and large. Round soft hair (synthetic or sable)
Stool or easel
Pencil and eraser
Warm and wet weather clothes
Sun hat/ visor.
The workshop will be held in Leighton's gardens.
