About this event

Travel & Outdoor • Hiking

Following the sold-out screening of Wilding, Hanover Action are thrilled to confirm the date for a guided walk of 'Wilding Waterhall', led by City Ranger Paul Gorringe.

This area is on the edge of Brighton and Hove and is a former golf course that was turned into a nature reserve in 2020. Since then, conservation work has been carried out to restore this rare chalk grassland, one of the UK’s most biodiverse habitats. Paul will share his expert knowledge about this very special place that is home to an amazing range of plants and wildlife.

We will meet at 11am sharp at the Waterhall Clubhouse. We encourage you to cycle if you can, but directions for all modes of transport can be seen here: https://bhfood.org.uk/clubhouse-directions/ There is a car park at the site.

This is a free event (but you are free to make a donation to further the work of Hanover Action). Numbers are limited so please book early on the Eventbrite to secure a ticket. Light refreshments will be available.

Further information about the Waterhall Wilding project can be seen at https://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/libraries-leisure-and-arts/parks-and-green-spaces/wilding-waterhall
