This ride will be on 1st October setting off at 10.30 am and returning by 2.30 pm.
Start point: Nottingham Tennis Centre ///short.blank.doing
Mid Point: Wilford Toll Bridge (sandwich bar)
End Point : Nottingham Tennis Centre ///short.blank.doing
• Tennis Centre on cycle path skirting Boots to canal at Thane Rd.
• Canal to Beeston Lock
• Follow River Trent to Wilford Toll Bridge.
• Via Birdcage Walk to Lenton Lane.
• Continue past Warhammer to Canal
• Follow Canal to Thane Rd and retrace route to Tennis Centre
Distance: Approximately 10 miles
Terrain: Flat, off-road tracks and towpaths
Surface: Generally smooth, but some sections may have loose gravel or rough surfaces
Signage: Follow signs for National Cycle Network (NCN) routes and local cycle paths
The whole ride should take approx 4 hours with breaks

Participants are required to have their own roadworthy bike & water bottle. They should also be sufficiently experienced and competent traveling upon varying roads and pathways including uneven unmetalled surfaces in a controlled and diligent manner.” Snacks are recommended.
