Description

Watford CVS Annual Conference is an opportunity for local community groups & charities to come together, exchange ideas, and participate in great interactive workshops.

This year's conference will be introduced by Watford's Deputy Mayor Cllr Peter Taylor. Key note speakers will be WBC Managing Director Manny Lewis (on "Watford's future and the role of the voluntary and community sector") and CEO of NAVCA Jane Ide (on "Threats and Opportunities for local voluntary organisations").

There will also be talks and workshops from:

1. The Customer Relationship Ladder (led by Paul Saunders of Shopper Anonymous with Huwaydah Malik of W3RT).

2. Putting the Governance Code into Practice (led by Robin Hodgkinson of Suffolk Academy for Voluntary Organisations with Emma Power of Home-Start Watford & Three Rivers).

3. The Power of Local Story Telling (led by Razi Hassan and Shakeel Esoof of Mustr).
