WATKIN
Watkin Sharkey is a Norwich-based folk musician influenced by songwriting giants such as Ralph Mctell & Bob Dylan. Currently working on his first album, Sharkey is making a debut London headline performance alongside Chris Powell on harmonica. Fresh off a tour of France & Spain, the songwriter is returning to the UK touring folk clubs & venues in the North & South.
There are alot of words to describe Watkin Sharkey, but I think you can whittle it down to exceptionally talented, instrumentally interesting and incredibly apt at songwriting. Clearly influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan and other classic American singer-songwriters, Watkin still has his own flair. With the added bonus of Chris Powell on Harmonica, they lit up The Bedford with a performance that really made you think ‘Wow, this guy has got something.’ - Dylan Rees-Coshan (The Bedford)

MAX
Max Bianco who was born in the Northeast of England could quite easily be mistaken as the love child of Bob Dylan and Peter Doherty with his poetic, dreamy songs reminiscent of a young rambling, vagabond on life’s journey taking in one town at a time singing his sweet yet somehow melancholy songs about his love, life and losses.
“The last true troubadour and working class hero we've been waiting for” - Peter Doherty (The Libertines/Babyshambles/Puta Madres)
“There is a great deal of maturity to Bianco’s songwriting - the way that he captures the spirit of a traveller moving on up the road is expansive and even cinematic” - The Songbird HQ
