Watkin Sharkey

Emerging from the bucolic flatlands of the Waveney Valley, bordering counties Norfolk & Suffollk is an alternative folk singer & new kid on the block. Watkin Sharkey is accompanied by Chris Powell (Hot Stove 3) on harmonica - both fresh off their first live tour this winter. Successful dates include The John Peel Centre in Stowmarket & The Merchant’s House in Norwich.

Influenced by the 70’s alternative folk-rock era & songwriting giants such as Ralph Mctell, John Martyn & Michael Chapman, Watkin A. Sharkey is a new face to the UK folk scene.
