In this talk, Chris will introduce his world-renowned practice and specifically speak about the challenges and revelations of underwater recording, including playing his epic blue whale song recorded last year, originally captured with a pair of Teledyne Reson hydrophones that were shipped from the Isle of Man.

The talk is part of Manx Wildlife Week which is organised by Manx National Heritage and in association with Manx Wildlife Trust and UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man. The week connects people with the importance of wildlife and nature and how individuals can support and enjoy it.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. The closest car park is Chester Street, Douglas, and access to the Manx Museum can be gained via the footbridge on the fifth floor.
