What is Waves of Wellness?

Waves of Wellness is a 3 day programme of well-being, Cornish craft, creativity and the beautiful Cornish coastline hosted at Bedruthan Hotel and Spa. Join Oyogo and Bedruthan for a creative escape with an immersive schedule filled with local Cornish craft & creativity, nourishing wellness sessions

Who is the festival suitable for?

This festival is suitable for adults of all ages and 16 - 18 teenagers - we have a full schedule of varied sessions, including creative workshops, more energetic sessions such as pilates and yoga classes, as well as holistic practice such as sound baths, ecstatic dance and breathwork.

Who is teaching at the festival?

Anthony Mullally, Sophie Hellyer, Kayleigh Jayne, David Jackson, Alicia Ray, Sama Trinder, Maddie Lily Rowland, Issey Knight, Ellea Alula Collections & Lu Cornish and more to be announced.

What ability levels are the sessions?

There are classes for all abilities and ages - our trainers are highly skilled and used to working with a variety of abilities. They can easily tailor each session to your individual needs.

Where can I stay?

The Bedruthan & Scarlet hotels boast incredible sea view rooms which can accommodate you for the duration of the festival. There is a ticket option to stay onsite in either hotel for the festival.

What time can I arrive at the festival each day?

The festival will open at 8am each morning, with sessions starting at 10am.

How do I sign up for sessions?

As you come into the hotel, you will find an Oyogo reception desk where you can sign into the day and your sessions. These can be changed throughout the day/weekend if you change your mind, just remember to let us know in advance so that another person can make use of your canceled slot.

Do I need my own wetsuit if I intend to surf?

No need to bring a wetsuit if you don’t already have one - King Surf has plenty available to borrow, just remember your swimsuit!.

Where can I change for sessions?

There will be various spaces set up for changing, just follow the signs or ask at reception.

Is food included or should I bring my own?

Some food is included in the tickets - including a coffee, welcome drink, deli lunch box and drink. Dinner is extra and optional. If you wish to book dinner please do this before you arrive due to availability.

Can I just come for a day or do I have to come for the whole weekend?

You don’t have to sign up for the whole weekend, there are day tickets available when booking.

Will there be somewhere to put my bag during the day if I am on a day ticket?

There will be allocated safe spaces to put your bag during the day.

Will there be somewhere for me to refill my water bottle?

In an attempt to minimise waste, it would be great if you could bring a refillable water bottle and/or coffee mug. There will be water stations available to fill your water, and low plastic snacks onsite in line with our commitment to the environment and its safeguarding.

Do I need to bring a towel?

Yes - we recommend bringing a towel in line with the activities you intend to participate in. i.e. hot & cold exposure, sea dipping, surfing, ice baths etc.

If the parking is full at the hotel, where should I park?

You will be able to park in the village car park and walk to the hotel. If you require closer access to the hotel you can also park in the main car park at Bedruthan Hotel.

What should I bring?

We will release a suggested kit list nearer the time but swimming costume, comfortable clothing in line with the activities you wish to participate in i.e. gym kit for pilates. We recommend bringing indoor and outdoor shoes (trainers or walking boots), a towel, a refillable water bottle, waterproof

Can I pay with my card and cash?

You can pay both card and cash for anything bought onsite.

Can I bring my children?

This festival and sessions are perfect for those aged 16+ -

Is the Bedruthan Hotel accessible?

Bedruthan Hotel is accessible and we have made previsions for accessibility across the weekend, if you need extra assistance please talk to the reception team when booking your tickets

Where do I go to check-in?

As you arrive onsite, there will be a check-in desk in the entrance to the hotel. There will be signage so you should spot us. Here you will be able to check-in, book into your sessions and get any information about the event you might need.

I booked the wrong sessions, can I change it?

Not to worry - come back and see us at the check in desk and we will get that amended for you. If you plan on not attending a session, it is important that you also come to us to cancel so that we can open up your slot to the wait list.

The session I want to attend is full, what should I do?

We can pop you on a wait list - but maybe this is your chance to try something else. We have lots of on offer throughout the three days so there should always be something for you!

What is the nearest train station?

Newquay Train Station is the nearest train station to the Bedruthan Hotel.

When will the festival programme be released?

We will email you the festival programme nearer the time in May so you can start to get excited about what sessions you want to do! As a reminder you will be able to book onto your session upon arrival each day.

How many workshops/sessions can I do each day?

We aim for each attendee to be able to try 3 - 4 different sessions across each day. We encourage you to do as little or as much as suits you best. If you have already booked into 4 sessions, we will give priority to other guests that booked into less before you can book another session

What is the refund policy?

We will offer a refund 30 days prior to the event date and then after that time tickets are non-refundable. You can however, transfer your ticket amount to be used as a credit to use at Bedruthan Hotel and spa, either on a room booking or food and drink another time. Valid for 6 months
