About this event
After the huge success of our first Kayak & Brunch (yes, we sold out last time! 😉), we’re back with an even more magical twist — Kayaking with Dolphins: A Respectful Encounter.
At sunrise, we’ll set off from the shoreline and paddle into the stunning Tamarin Bay, one of the best places in Mauritius to observe dolphins in their natural habitat. The calm morning waters offer the perfect chance to spot two incredible marine mammals: the spinner dolphin (Stenella longirostris) and the bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus). These beautiful creatures often take refuge in the bay at night to rest, mate, and feed — and if we’re lucky, we’ll witness them in their element.
🌿 This is a responsible and respectful dolphin encounter. Guided by an experienced instructor, we’ll approach carefully to protect both the dolphins and their environment.
🐬 A note about dolphin sightings: These encounters are completely natural and cannot be guaranteed — dolphins may sometimes be further offshore, out of reach for kayaks.
🌦 Weather contingency: If the weather conditions aren’t safe for the bay excursion, we’ll switch to a Tamarin River kayaking experience instead, where you can enjoy the calm waters and rich wildlife of the river.
🥐 After kayaking, we’ll gather for a well-deserved brunch — the perfect way to end a morning of nature, connection, and Wavey vibes.
