Join us for Wavey’s Ti Marmite: Rum and Repas — a vibrant experience that combines the art of crafting rhum arrangé with a traditional Mauritian lunch in the heart of Moka.
🍹 What’s Rhum Arrangé?
Rhum arrangé is a beloved tradition in Mauritius, where rum is infused with local fruits, spices, and herbs to create rich, unique blends. It’s more than just a drink — it’s a cultural ritual, often shared with friends and family during celebrations or simply as a gesture of hospitality.
You’ll take part in a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the process of creating your own infused rum blend, discover the history behind it, and of course — enjoy a little tasting too.
🍛 What’s on the Menu?
After the workshop, we’ll sit down for a hearty Mauritian lunch at Escale Créole — full of the island’s signature flavours and homestyle cooking. Think fragrant curries, aromatic rice, pickles, and all the sides that make Mauritian food so comforting and unforgettable.
