A Financial Resilience Workshop for Leaders of Small Charities

Join us in the beautiful Bedouin Peace Tent in St Ethelburga’s Centre for an afternoon of reflection, connection, and exploration. This half-day workshop is designed for leaders of small charities who want to create the time and space to explore what it means to lead a resilient organisation during financially uncertain times.

It’s not that resilient charities don’t face difficulty, of course they do. All organisations do. What sets resilient charities apart is that they have created the conditions that give them the best chance of recovering and adapting when they do.

Facilitated by small charity specialist consultants Penny Wilson and Liz Pepler, this session offers space to share stories, reflect on your leadership, learn some simple financial resilience building tools and build community with others who understand the unique pressures of running a small charity.

Together, we’ll:

  • Become familiar with the concepts of financial resilience
  • Identify organisational and structural barriers to financial resilience
  • Co-create practical ways to overcome them
  • Determine our resilience assets and development priorities
  • Leave with one clear, achievable action - and the support of a nurturing community

Come as you are. Leave feeling connected and prepared.
