Join Our Signet Ring Wax Carving Workshop – September 21st

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the traditional art of wax carving to create your own unique signet ring. We'll start by teaching you the basics of shaping wax using techniques that have been part of jewellery making for centuries. Then, you'll design and carve your own emblem for the ring face, blending traditional and experimental methods.

The studio will be filled with visual inspiration to spark your ideas, and your tutor will guide you every step of the way with demonstrations and one-to-one support to help bring your design to life.

At the end of the workshop, your finished wax ring will be sent off to a specialist casting company for lost wax casting—a method still widely used today for its precision and detail. It will take a few weeks for your final silver ring to be cast, polished, and sent back to you by post.

Before you start you will be send through our health and safety information for the event ahead of time. Don't worry this will be re-covered in person on the day. However in terms of aproprite dress code we would recomend reading our guide before your class.

Extra Info:

The event will be held in our beautiful plant life studio on the 1st floor. You will have access to a toilet, however this is up on the 2nd floor up a small staircase so unfortunately we cannot say this event has any disabled access. If you are a disabled user and wished to attend any of our weekend please drop us a meaage and we will look to running someonething specifically designed for disabled users later in the year we can invite you to an honour our 35% discount.
