Event description

Saturday 23 November 2019, 10.30am - 3:30 pm
The National Gallery, Sainsbury Wing lecture theatre

Our annual one-day conference for A level students and teachers will again take place at The National Gallery in London.

Now in its 12th year, this popular annual event is a unique opportunity for those teaching or studying History of Art or Art & Design at A level to come together to discover and discuss art and ideas.

The day includes talks, discussions and workshops on ways of thinking about art in relation to a specific theme, this year taking nature in art and architecture as the central topic of the conference.

This year's conference will include presentations covering a range of nature-related themes including:

  • landscape/seascape

  • animals

  • plants
