Do you want an exciting creative career but don’t know where to start? or need support to take it to the next level?
We Are Lewisham: Creative Futures invite you our Creative Career Fest for the vibes, fun & honest discussions about career pathways, no holds barred!
Feel free to throw any question (big or small) at our hosts. Bring your friends, family friendly, and inclusion is top priority.
• Discover how to break into the games, film and TV industries.
• Learn about backstage theatre roles, crafting, dance, photography, fashion and more
• Meet industry professionals and learn about their journeys, including presenter Shahlaa Tahira from BBC Radio 1Xtra, Reprezent Radio presenter Ny, and Denise Brown - fashion stylist to the stars - including Rhianna!
• Join us on a tour around a different world! Get a special peek into Goldsmiths Reality Labs. You will meet scientists and artists working with Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Motion Capture, Laser Tracking and 3D Sound.
• Games industry panel talk with audience Q&A supported by Games London featuring a panel from the Ensemble programme
• Meet Creative Access who have industry opportunities specifically for people from communities under-represented in the creative industries and work to help people access careers, progress and lead.
• Talks, screenings and workshops with inspirational industry professionals including We Are Parable, Crafts Council , Cockpit Arts and Renaissance Studios / The Rebirth Project.
• ERIC is a free app for young creatives to explore, up-skill and land their first job in the creative industries. The ERIC team will be there on the day giving advice to help kickstart your creative career - make sure you download the app before the event on iOS or Android.
