We Bop Choir Free Taster Session

Join Brighton's all-women pop and soul choir. We sing songs by an array of great artists such as Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, Björk, Kate Bush, Fleetwood Mac, Earth Wind & Fire, Lilly Allen, Marvin Gaye, Laura Mvula, Stereophonics and many more…

This term we will be working towards a new show, “Blooming Hearts” that will be performed at St George’s Church, Kemp Town on Saturday 27th June 2026. We will be accompanied by our Latin Acoustic Trio and a string quartet, which give our covers a fabulously unique flavour. Our Musical Director, Rachel Myer, writes bespoke arrangements for the choir and she makes practice mp3s to help you learn the songs. All the songs are taught by ear, so no reading is required. We are a friendly and supportive choir and we look forward to meeting you!

We meet on Wednesdays 19:30 to 21:30 at One Church, Florence Road, BN1 6DL. We meet in the back hall (entrance is on Southdown Avenue).

Spring/Winter Term dates: Wednesday 7th January to 25th March 2026. 12 weeks. Cost for new members: £105/£95con* (this includes one free session). *concessions over 65, students, unemployed, JSA, UC

Summer Term dates: Wednesday 8th April to 24th June 2026. 11 weeks (no rehearsal 27th May). Cost for all members £105/£95con. Payment due 08.04.26
