This free in-person event comes at a pivotal time for the adult social care sector, coinciding with the beginning of the Casey Commission’s work on long-term adult social care reform, the upcoming publication of the 10-Year Health Plan, and nearly a year into the government’s parliamentary term.

The event will be held by The King’s Fund on Wednesday 14th May, 8:30am – 9:45am.

The event will discuss:

Why previous reform efforts have fallen short
The impacts on individuals and their families
Early actions the government could take to signal progress whilst the Casey Commission grapples with longer-term reform
Necessary policy solutions to address these issues effectively and for the long-term.

Sarah Woolnough, Chief Executive, The King's Fund, will chair the event. Sarah will be joined for a panel discussion by:

This will be an in-person event at our central London offices and hope you will be able to join us there for the discussion. There will be breakfast and networking from 8:00am ahead of a prompt start at 8:30am.
