The annual Weald of Kent Ploughing Match is organised by a committee of volunteers with proceeds supporting local and rural charities.
It is a vibrant and growing annual event well supported by the local agricultural community and allied trades, with more than 80 trade stands forming the heart of the modern show.
In addition to the ploughing competition, it also has a true "Thelwellian" gymkhana, farmers' market with a variety of events and displays in the main ring which all attract huge crowds.
