Join us at one or more dark locations in Weardale, for a one-off astrophotography workshop. We'll meet at a central location, before heading off to wherever the conditions are best.
Please do your best to also keep the Friday (September 23rd) and Sunday (September 25th) free. I'll keep an eye on the forecasts that week and may change to one of those nights, if the weather is looking better.
This is going to be a small group (maximum 8 people) which will ensure plenty of tutorial support.
As it'll be the darkest part of the month, we'll concentrate on capturing the Milky Way. Also, if you want to try your hand at star trails / circles, please bring a wired shutter release or intervalometer.
If there's time, we can also start to discuss how to capture deep sky objects, so bring all your lenses.
In the event of poor weather on all three nights (September 23rd to 25th), your booking will automatically be transferred to the first Killhope workshop of the season, on October 22nd.
Your booking is non-refundable if you're unable to come (but it may possible to transfer it to someone else, upon request).
This is going to be one fantastic event. I hope to see you there.
