WeAreTheCity India is delighted to invite you to our flagship, end-of-year event, ‘Invest in Me’ in association with event partner, Marriott India and sponsor EY.
This event will see WeAreTheCity India co-founders Caroline Graham and Vanessa Vallely back in India for the first time since the platform’s launch in March 2014 and will bring together professionals and experts from a range of industries to provide insight, inspiration and motivation to invest in yourself to drive your career forward.
The event will be hosted by WATC India Chair, Jo Gaglani, Deputy Chair, Tejal Gandhi and Mumbai committee member Anita Pawaskar and will be attended by WATC India bloggers, supporters, contributors and members from across India.
We are also delighted to welcome Anuranjita Kumar, Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer at Citi South Asia, and the author of recently launched, inspirational new book, ‘Can I have it all?’ Anuranjita will be the event’s key note speaker and will discuss her new book - a memoir which touches upon her struggles in the proverbial corporate jungle, juxtaposed with a heartwarming account of a mother, daughter and wife balancing a healthy home and work life. Through her personal narration, Anuranjita will talk about the significance of investing in yourself to achieve success.
The event will also feature a panel debate with professional women from different sectors, all who will give their individual tips and thoughts on investing in yourself.
The panel line up will include:
Katie Day: Founder, Realising Dynamic Potential International and author of The High-Heeled Leader
Suchi Ray: Director, Business Manager, Barclays
Puja Kohli: People & Change Catalyst, Founder of Unfold Consulting
Pavithran Nambiar: General Manager, JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu
Dr Manish Patwardhan: Partner & Director, Spa Consultants, Urban Nirvana Wellness, Escenza Wellness
In addition, the October event will see the launch of WATC’s ‘Me Time Zone’ featuring a wellness zone by Quan Spa and select luxury retailers, as well as consulting companies providing services and information on the event theme to our members. Cocktails and canapés will also be served and, like all WATC India events, there will be plenty of time for networking!
