Weave Your Christmas Tree (In-Person Crafting Workshop)
Overview
Get into the festive spirit with our hands-on Weave Your Christmas Tree workshop. Under the guidance of experienced craft instructor Jingwei, you will learn how to weave a charming hanging Christmas-tree ornament using coloured rope, ribbons, and simple embellishments. No prior weaving or knot-craft experience is required.
During the session, you will:
- Select and mix your rope colours (we provide evergreen greens, reds, whites, and metallic accents).
- Learn key rope-knot techniques and loop patterns to form the tree silhouette.
- Add festive trimmings (mini bells, faux berries, ribbons) and personalise your hanging piece.
- What to bring (optional): Any small charms or decorations you’d like to add to your tree.
Perfect for creating a handmade festive decoration for your home or to give as a gift. We’ll also share tips on how to display your finished piece at home, on your Christmas tree, or as a personalised present.
This is a relaxed and creative environment. Refreshments (tea, coffee, and snacks) will be provided.
Who Can Join:
- Anyone who enjoys hands-on craft experiences is welcome — no experience needed.
- Children are welcome, and we gently recommend that parents accompany younger children due to the use of small decorative parts.
- Perfect for friends, couples, or solo participants looking for a fun afternoon activity.
