In this engaging weaving class at in our new studio space at Grit Studios, you'll learn how to create your own unique weave using a variety of materials. You'll craft a beautiful piece to take home and proudly display, incorporating an array of textures and colours.
As you settle into the creative process, you'll find yourself relaxing and unwinding amongst friends. This hands-on activity is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike. There's no need to worry about your skill level - the joy is in the journey of intertwining different materials and watching your creation come to life.During the class, you'll work with an exciting range of materials, including:
- Yarns
- Embroidery threads
- Denim waste from repurposed jeans
- A selection of fabrics
You'll learn how to combine these diverse elements, creating a tapestry that's uniquely yours. As you weave, you might find yourself getting pleasantly lost in the rhythmic, meditative process.
