Weaving the Forest - Creating art from nature

Join artist Helen Perry from Strombolitwo for a relaxing and creative wool weaving session.

We’ll begin with a short, gentle ramble into Garvagh Forest to collect natural treasures, like fallen leaves, twigs, and seeds, before heading back indoors. Using wool, needles, and your forest finds, Helen will guide you in weaving beautiful tree designs.

Your finished piece will be mounted onto a background, ready to frame and take home as a special keepsake.

No experience needed, just bring your creativity.

Whether you’re new to weaving or looking for a fresh burst of inspiration, this session is a perfect way to connect with nature, relax, and create something beautiful.

Children aged 12 and over are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
