CASHMERE & SILK RAG-RUG WEAVING WORKSHOP WITH BRISTOL WEAVING MILL
Dates: Friday 31st March, Saturday 1st, Friday 7th and Saturday 8th April and Friday 9th, Saturday 10th June
Times: 1pm- 3pm & 4pm- 6pm
Discover the sensory process of tapestry rug weaving during these fun and collaborative workshops. Baskets brimming with soft cashmere ribbons made from selvedge waste will provide the raw materials to be woven by hand into a tapestry canvas. Through working as a group, your individual input will build up a rug as a whole.
Bristol Weaving Mill (BWM) was established in 2015 by the owners of internationally renowned hand-woven textile design studio, Dash and Miller. The Bristol Weaving Mill focuses on creating and producing original and innovative fabrics for fashion and interiors.

Please bring your valid booking confirmation with you, which must be produced on arrival in order to enter.
