Weaving Worlds - MA Applied Imagination Graduate Symposium

Weaving Worlds - MA Applied Imagination Graduate Symposium

By Central Saint Martins, UAL

Overview

Join us for Weaving Worlds, a symposium celebrating the next generation of changemakers and researchers emerging from MA Applied Imagination

This year, we are applying our imaginations to redefine and challenge what a symposium is or could be, presenting a series of participatory workshops, talks and performances that showcase the bold provocations and research processes of our cohort.

The title, Weaving Worlds, represents the ways diverse ideas, disciplines, and communities converge within each student project to create a more connected and future-proof world. Through action research, storytelling, and experimentation, we reveal how creativity can be a tool for real change, one thread at a time.

Featuring keynote speeches and panel talks from: Martin Kunze (Memory of Mankind), MAAI Course Leader Richard Reynolds (author of Superculture), Premila Van Ommen (author of Transmitting Traditions), and Sonja Dimitrova (founder of Tone & Detail).

Step into a space where imagining otherwise becomes a force for change and discover how today’s creative researchers are weaving the worlds of tomorrow.
