Description:

Practioners will gain practical knowledge of the Global Business Mobility routes. We will cover the most popular and useful routes comprehensively including Senior or Specialist Worker, Graduate Trainee and UK Expansion Worker. An overview of the Service Supplier and Secondment Worker routes will also be provided. Participants will gain an understanding of what is required at each stage of sponsorship and permission application processes.

Topics covered will include the following:

· Applying for the relevant sponsor licence;

· The requisite links between UK and overseas entities for each route;

· Information and documentation required at the sponsorship stage;

· Assessing eligibility of the role and individual, including salary requirements;

· Certificates of sponsorship;

· Applications for permission – requirements and processes; and

· Potential further applications.

This session will not cover ongoing sponsor duties. We will not detail sectors covered by each eligible trade agreement under the Service Supplier route.

The aim of this course is to support practitioners in advising on the most popular routes and familiarise practitioners with the basics of all Global Business Mobility routes.
