WEB-RADR 2 stakeholder-focused webinars
Location
Online event
Welcome to the registration page for the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) WEB-Recognising Adverse Drug Reactions (WEB-RADR) 2 webinars
About this event
Over the 18-month exploitation project, WEB-RADR 2 has significantly enhanced its mobile application platform and now offers the ability to embed the functionality into systems, applications and websites by use of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), based on public and European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) requirements. These enhancements have facilitated adoption in eight countries and fostered a successful partnership with the World Health Organisation to continue the roll out the technology in the future.
In addition, bi-directional maps between SNOMED CT and MedDRA terminologies have been successfully completed for frequently used terms. Led by SNOMED International and MedDRA MSSO, the maintenance model of such mappings has been explored, to support implementation after the project. Connectivity protocols with electronic healthcare record (EHR) databases have also been explored within United Kingdom and Danish settings, such that adverse drug reaction (ADR) and regulatory information can be made available in the healthcare record.
