The WEBA Ministers' Conference is an opportunity for those in pastoral leadership (ie the key leadership roles in our churches) to share spiritual refreshment, biblical insight, and theological stimulation while spending time with friends and colleagues.
We warmly welcome spouses of those serving in minstry roles, retired ministers, and other church staff members who wish to come along.
This year we are delighted to be welcoming Chris Wright, author of the hugely influential The Mission of God and Lynn Green, the newly appointed General Secretary of the Baptist Union, as our speakers.
Sidholme Hotel in Sidmouth has been the conference venue for a number of years. It offers ensuite and standard rooms, full board, a swimming pool and facilities for pool and table tennis. With the seaside town centre and promenade, with its pubs, tea shops, and clifftop walks, just a short walk away, it's the perfect place to unwind. An optional game of golf is often arranged for the free afternoon on Tuesday.
Ensuite rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you select an ensuite room, but we are unable to offer one, we will let you know about this and send a refund of £16 by cheque in January.
It is the responsibility and privilege of each church to pay the full costs for its minister to attend the conference, and there should be no reason for anyone in pastoral leadership in a WEBA church not to be able to attend for financial reasons. If you have any queries about this, please contact Nigel Coles.
Booking for the conference will close on Friday 29th November 2013.
