Snapshot Testing

Facebook introduced snapshot testing in Jest last year and it has already picked up a huge interest. Why is snapshot testing so popular? How and when should you use it, and can you use it even if you’re not using jest?

Anna Doubková

Anna is a Software Engineer at PizzaHut. She loves new tech combined with reasonable engineering principles to create cutting-edge, yet reliable applications.

Painless testing

Testing UIs has always been a hard job. In the components era, there are new tools and solutions available that transform completely the way we approach testing. From snapshots, through end-to-end frameworks, to style guide testing. In this talk, we'll see some modern (and creative) testing solutions.

Michele Bertoli

Front End Engineer working at Facebook, with a strong passion for beautiful UIs and crafting modern JavaScript applications.
Author of "React Design Patterns and Best Practices" (Packt).
He strongly believes in the open-source community: one of his most appreciated piece of work is CSS-in-JS and other “funny” side-projects like react-poop.
