We know that a diagnosis of cardiomyopathy can also be a stressful time from a financial perspective.
This webinar will provide clarification around the 2026 Changes to the Work Capability Assessment for Universal Credit - with time for a Q&A with Robert after his presentation.
It will also reiterate the different ways in which Cardiomyopathy UK can support you with Welfare & Benefits-related enquiries, including applying for PIP (Personal Independence Payment) and what to do if your application has been turned down.
---
Our host Robert Mandelstam is a Welfare & Benefits Advisor with 15 years of experience in the industry. Robert partners with Cardiomyopathy UK to provide support at all stages of the claimant journey - from initial enquiries and claims, right through to tribunal support where needed.
---
Any questions you might have for Robert should be pre-submitted by Thursday 20th November to services@cardiomyopathy.org with the subject line 'Question for Robert's Webinar on 27th November'.
All questions will be anonymised and generalised prior to being forwarded to Robert.
---
All attendees will be muted throughout this webinar, but will be able to submit questions via the chat function, which will be answered if we have time (as pre-submitted questions will be prioritised).
The charity's Communities Engagement Manager, Christie Jones, will be on hand to provide tech support as needed, and will also manage the chat area.
