Join us here at People, Places, Lives to explore how providing the right health and social care support on a dedicated portal (which includes community directories), can help people to access information, advice and guidance that is relevant to them. The overall aim of our IAG sites is to support early intervention & prevention and promote independence & wellbeing by connecting citizens, practitioners & the wider community with the information that they need, when they need it. Providing the right support early on, can empower people to self-direct and take some control, taking the pressure off health and social care teams and the public purse.
Providing easily accessible health and social care , information, advice and guidance to people living in our communities is vital. Currently we know that there can be numerous websites and many information directories all up and running in the same localities, this makes it hard for people to find what they are looking for as well as being costly to manage.
Today we will showcase how we are already supporting your health and social care colleagues and their citizens, with our dedicated, bespoke IAG portals/directories, whilst giving you an overview of the many additional optional features that are also available.
