About this event

Join us on 18 April 2024, 12.00 - 13.00, for the first in our Thursday lunchtime webinars when we will be discussing engaging with the public on animal research.

John Meredith, Head of Education and Outreach for UAR, will be joined by Dr Nicola Stock, Public Engagement with Research Manager at the Roslin Institute Edinburgh, to offer tips and advice and to answer questions.

The webinar is open to anyone who works with research animals, whether you want to prepare for an engagement event such as a science fair or Pint of Science, or simply want to be better prepared to discuss what you do with friends and family.

Future webinars will explore how to prepare for protest, animal research in politics and policy, engagement through social media, the outlook for alternatives, currents and trends in activism and more.
