Event description

Description

The apprenticeship reforms are ushering in significant changes to the way front-line staff deliver apprenticeships and to the apprenticeship journey itself. This brings new challenges in making sure apprenticeships, at every stage, are accessible and inclusive.

On Weds 30th May, we’re hosting a webinar for front-line staff, taking you through:

  • The context – EDI legislation and your changing apprenticeship role
  • The new apprenticeship journey
  • EDI barriers you need to be aware of at various stages of the apprenticeship journey
  • Practical solutions, actions and effective practice to overcome these

The webinar will be insightful and action-focused, equipping you with the knowledge, tools and resources to prepare for your future role in apprenticeships.

You can book onto the webinar for £55 (+VAT). This includes the live webinar (with Q&A), webinar recording, and supporting tools / resources. (Don’t worry if you can’t make the date – we’ll send you the recording)

Who are these webinars for?

This webinar is designed for those responsible for the front-line delivery, or management, of apprenticeship training

Facilitators and speakers

The webinar series will be facilitated by Carole Loader (SDN Senior Associate and Director of Mesma). Carole was head of EDI at a large national provider for many years. She has worked with many apprenticeship providers (and their staff) to start delivering standards. She holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Equal Opportunities and was the lead content writer for the EDI in Apprenticeships course, developed by the SDN team for the ETF.

Why an SDN webinar?

SDN are leading experts in the apprenticeship reforms. We’ve supported over 3,000 apprenticeship staff, from 900 organisations, to prepare for the reforms. We’ve also worked closely with over 80 of the trailblazer employer groups, giving us a unique insight into what is required. SDN authors of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Apprenticeship Standards online course and the Future Apprenticeships toolkit.

Payment

As this is a single webinar, and to keep costs down for delegates, payment for the webinar can only be made online via credit card.
